I am hoping it looks this pretty but really I will be just happy to see the mountains. I know Jacob doesn't think I will miss him because he thinks I am so excited to go home. I am very excited to meet my new niece Emee. and to see my family. it has been a while. Babe I promise I will miss you and I will come back. Lucky for me Mike is going out of town and Heather needed some help and company. Lucky for me work and school worked out perfect. If anyone who reads this blog see's my dad before Tuesday comes maybe you can convince him that seeing his daughter is more important then a hunt. (Hint Hint) A daddy's girl just sometimes needs a hug. Utah here I come.27 September 2009

Long awaited Update
I know who ever thought that I would update this thing. Well if it weren't for this amazing cold or flu I have I wouldn't be. Jacob is off with his family boating today. I wish I were there but instead stuck in bed with a lot of tissues. I guess one thing is good I can finish my book today. If anybody want's a good read Francine Rivers "A Voice in the Wind" series. I am almost done with book 2.
We had a great summer this year (besides the fact I didn't get to go home) we both turned another year older. Which for me was awful I didn't want to turn 26. I was okay with staying 25. I really hate this getting older thing. We also celebrated our 2nd wedding aniversary. We stayed at Barnsley Garden Resort. Here is a web address to check it out. http://www.barnsleyresort.com/ We got spoiled for sure. We had a blast we played disc golf, walked the gardens, had a pool to ourselves, canoed, hiked, played crocque,(however you spell that) and dined inn. It was a perfect little getaway. I have pictures but the technical person of the home is not here. They are on his phone. Don't worry I just ordered a new battery charger for my camera so I will see if I can find time for some pictures. Here are a few Jacob had on the computer.

Jacob and I both just started fall semseter. It is going to be a long semseter but I will be greatful when it is over with. I am taking 20 credits (3 Science and Lab classes) I know kill me now. I wanted to start the Education program this spring and that is what I have left. I basically live at the school and then off to work until 9:00 p.m. Long days. So I am treasuring my weekends. Jacob is in his second semester with the Rad Tech program. He got a 4.0 his first semseter and was just named his class President.
I recently got released from Young Womens. It was a hard week but they have the best new president. I got to work with the best girls in the world and will miss seeing them so often. They strengthened my testimony of the Savior with the amazing examples they set. I am lucky to be serving in the primary. I have never served in the primary so I am excited about the new adventure. I will let you know how it goes. Jacob is now serving as Sec. in the YM.
We also got in a ton of swimming. Thanks to the best neighbors and family in the world. I think Jacob went through at least 2 pair of swimming shorts due to the amazing watermelon game. As you can see below it can get a little rough. All in all we had a great summer.

And He's In
I know we have not made a post for months so I was just give an update with what is going on. I have some great pictures but I lost my camera charger. Good huh! But the best news for our family is that Jacob got into the Radiology Tech program this week. We are so excited we have been waiting for this news for over a year. He applied in Sept. and has been through the entire application process of filling out lots of paper work, getting reference letters, doing an apprenticeship, taking test, doing an interview and so on. Out of more then 100 applicants he was one of the 17 choosen. So we are super excited! Wait to go babe. That means we will be here for at least 2 more years but tht is okay.
We have been busy lately I started school this semester and I have actually enjoyed beeing back in the classroom. We have been to Utah 3 times since the last post. We had a blast at Christmas going sledding and being with the family. The next trip was short for my best friend and cousin Lacey's wedding. Congrats. She looked so pretty. Then we just got back last week for my spring break. I know I did not get to see anybody. The first part of the trip we were in Logan for a close family friend of Jacob's funeral. Michael Alleman died while serving our country in Iraq. The entire funeral was such a testimony builder of the plan of salvation, and how truly blessed I am to have the knowledge that I can be with my family forever.
Then for the weekend I got to go to Washington with my mom to visit my brother and all of my cute nephews. We had lots of fun especially bowling. Go nana mom you had some great skills. Also AJ kicked some butt at his basketball game for sure the best one on the entire team.
Then the last few days in Utah Jacob got to come and we just got to spend a few days with the family and made a trip to Park City which we love. Anyway thought we would give an update and not wait for my camera for pictures.

Gatlinburg Getaway
Monday night Jacob and I drove up to Gatlinburg, TN and had a two day getaway. Sadly Jacob had a late plane so we didn't get there until 3:00 A.M. But we had a blast and enjoyed the cabin.
We enjoyed these comfy couches and watched two movies!
This was the view from the deck of the cabin. There were still some trees that had beautiful colors.
This picture is for my dad. When he came to Memphis, TN for Isaac's bowl game Corky's was his favorite. We had lunch here and the ribs were very good!

Fall Update
For those of you who know me know that I am a big college football fan. As well as I served my mission in Lubbock Texas. I just have to give a shout out to my Red Raiders for beating the #1 football team Texas last night. Below is a picture of me and my companions shooting our guns. I have pictures of me being in the football locker room as well as on their football field but of course they are in Utah.

On Wed. we got to go on a road trip to ATL to go to the temple. We had such a fun little road trip. Of course we had to get panda express on the way home. It is a tradition when we go to the temple to get panda. We also loved this tree on the temple grounds. That night we had trunk or treat. I am not one to get dressed up. But we had a blast. The decorations were amazing and the chilli was wonderful. Thanks for everyone in the ward that worked so hard.

A couple of mornings ago my sweet husband got up early and made me pancakes. He seriously was so proud of them. He made the comment that they should go in a magazine. I do have the best husband in the world. He suprised me this week as well with a new purse. Just cause he loves me and does cute things.. I love it. Thanks babe!
We also cheered on are bulldogs yesterday. But they got their butts kicked by Florida. Jacob loved these rocking chairs and thought we should buy them.
